“Embracing Change to meet Tomorrow’s Challenges”… that was the theme I chose when I began this journey as
your State President. I never in my wildest dreams thought we would have to endure the changes and meet the
challenges that we have had to do in the last year because of a worldwide pandemic. But we are a resilient group and we
have risen to the challenges that have presented themselves. We have had to resolve to staying in our homes, distancing
ourselves from friends and family, and mustering the strength to remain optimistic and find ways to stay healthy, fit, and
content. As a sailor would say, we have weathered the storms and rough seas and are now approaching calmer waters
and safe harbors. ….
