The Indiana Extension Homemakers Association is offering eight (8) $500.00 Career Advancement Scholarships to Indiana homemakers 25 years of age or older. The Eleanor Arnold Award goes to an IEHA member. The Ann Hancook Award is given to someone studying in the medical profession, and the remaining six are random-study scholarships. These applicants do not have to be an IEHA member.The scholarships are awarded to help complete one's education or upgrade one's vocational skills. Preference is given to those studying at undergraduate levels. Former winners may apply again. Complete instructions, a master copy of the scholarship application, and a press release for your local newspaper are in the scholarship section of the Blue Notebooks. All the information is also available on this website. Applications must be postmarked by March 15, 2009 to be considered eligible.
