The Indiana Extension Homemakers offers a First Timer Award for those attending the Home and Family Conference in June for the first time. Two awards $150 are given in each of our 10 Districts across the state. If you know of someone that has never attend the Conference encourage them to fill out the application and join us for a fun and educational time.Applications are due to the County President who then must send them on to their District Representative by March 7, 2009. In turn each DR must submit the winning applications to the State First Timer Chair, Mary Delay, by April 1, 2009. County Presidents can find the application in your Blue Book, or it can be downloaded from this website. A short essay of about 200 words on "Why I want to attend the Home and Family Conference" is to be included with the application. The State First Timer winners will be recognized at our Home and Family Conference in June 2009. We hope to see lots of new people at Purdue!! Mary Delay
